Angrezi Dhaba , Dadar , Mumbai.
Short Review: It's a beautiful place to hang out with friends and family. The ambience is interestingly classy and amazing. The food quality and quantity is good. Their menu is short and perfect, they have quick service as well.
Overall rating: (4.5/5)
Now coming up with the detailed review.
The restaurant is in Dadar, within a walking distance from Dadar station and one can take a cab from the highway at a min cost to reach the location. Situated in the Nakshatra mall. Parking can be an all-time issue as the place is crowded at all the hours. One should be lucky enough to get the parking space.
The menu here is short and simple. But healthy enough to quench your thirst and fulfill your hunger.
The main attraction of this place is the feel which you get . A dhaba in the middle of one of the busiest street of mumbai ie Dadar.
They have both indoors and outdoor seatings. Outdoor one is a rooftop thing which pens after 7 pm .
The ambience is full of Bollywood mixed with dhaba decor.
There I started with few cocktails and mocktails.
First I had was a Mumbai Thandai Mocktail (3.5/5).
An amazing taste and blend of the Thandi can be tasted. Though the taste was not up to the mark.It somewhat felt like tasting Amul Kool .
Then I had was Rum Punch Cocktail (5/5).
It has a perfect blend of strawberry crush,
orange, mango, and pineapple juice with
white rum in the bottom with vanilla
ice cream and fresh cream.
Jeera Kokum Punch Mocktail (5.5)
Amazing flavors of Kokum extract with orange juice served with soda.
Fresh Fruit Caipiroska Cocktail (5/5)
Made with fresh seasonal fruits and lime wedges with mint leaves served with vodka, soda, and spirit.
Now For the Starters I had
Murgh Methi Kebab (4.5/5)
The combination can make you feel a step back, but the methi kebabs where amazing and mouthwatering. Well cooked and well presented.
Murgh Schezwan Tandoori (4.5/5)
The chicken was just amazing and had perfect Schezwan and tandoori flavors in them.
Coin Vada Pav (3/5)
Coin vada pav or mini vada pav is nothing but the small size Vada Pav.
Rawas Fish (4.5/5)
The fish was well cooked with the crispy crust and amazing flavours.
Main Course
Murgh Lapeta (5/5)
The murgh lapeta can be a good main course, the gravy is finger licking and the chicken is well cooked with perfect taste of the masalas.
Kheema Naan (4/5)
Something different from regular breads. The Kheema was less in quantity compared to the dough. A bit dry, would taste perfect if served with butter on.
And Finally the Dessert
Gulab Jamun Triffle (5/5)
The perfect desert to have. Amazing flavours of Gulab Jamun and triffle with ice cream. It was mixture of brownies , ice cream and gulab jamuns mixed together in the cup and topped with another gulab jamun.
